What we’re looking for…


…an efficient Revenue Manager - someone with an analytical mind and a proactive approach to optimising revenue strategies across the business.


This is a hybrid role, based in our client's London, Manchester, or Leeds office. You will have autonomy, working across their expanding group of aparthotels and manage a small portfolio of properties. Reporting to the Head of Revenue & Distribution, you will collaborate with the commercial team to implement revenue strategies.


You will be technologically savvy and inquisitive in your approach to systems. A source of revenue insights, you will provide up to date reporting and analysis of performance across all channels. You will proactively evaluate current and developing market trends to optimise the business mix, setting appropriate pricing and yield strategies across all locations.


You will also support the business with various projects like new openings, market research, commercial initiatives, and new system activations. As an integral part of the commercial team, you’ll be expected to work closely with every area of the business, including operations.


Key Responsibilities


• To lead the revenue and distribution function for the portfolio across the north of the UK – currently Manchester and opening Leeds, York, and Edinburgh in 2024.

• Work closely with the Head of Revenue & Distribution to further develop the revenue strategy across the group – short and long stay.

• Monitor in depth market performance by using STR, Forward Star, and OTA Insights.

• Update RMS and PMS to ensure the properties are competitive and achieving KPIs.

• Review daily and weekly pick up and implement restrictions and pricing amendments for selected properties.

• Lead weekly / bi-weekly revenue calls with the wider commercial team and Area GM’s.

• Maintenance of PMS and key operating systems including third party extranets.

• Responsible for managing OTA partners and accounts.

• Creating and maintaining reports for senior management.

• Distributing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to relevant teams.

• Development of new reporting techniques or systems to assist senior leadership team in assessing key decisions.

• Maintain key events calendar across all locations.

• Assist with onboarding new properties, including all associated revenue activities.

• To comply with all relevant internal rules, policies, and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection etc., and all those contained within the issued Team Handbook.

• To support the wider commercial team as required during peak periods.


Requirements:

• 3-5 years working in revenue management.

• Knowledge of revenue management principles and strategies including distribution, channel management, yield management, extended stay concepts, pricing strategy, market trends, demand factors and forecasting.

• Intermediate or advanced Excel and strong numeracy and analytical skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred.

• Knowledge of channel management software, GDS Systems and managing OTA Extranets.

• Enjoys working in an environment with high levels of autonomy.

• Excels at creating and maintaining positive and productive working relationships across the business.

• Strong Organisational skills and the ability to work independently.

• A keen eye for detail and identifying trends.

• Excellent communication skills – fluency in English, both verbal and written.

• The ability to demonstrate soft skills, including active listening, collaboration, and empathy.

• Independently motivated and self-organised, balancing concurrent tasks and priorities.


Package:

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

• Holiday Entitlement: 20 days & bank holidays

• Bonus Potential: 15% of Salary based on KPI’s and the company’s financial performance
