My strength/skills/superpower:

I can solve in good terms various situations that may come up both personally and professionally. I often see difficulties as a project in which there are certain tasks that can be done to improve or solve the situation. This is something I apply in mi daily live to overcome new challenges and it also requires of a lot of resilience. Resilience, indeed, Is one of my biggest strengths. I believe that to master something, there is a process behind which is to be consistent no matter the situation.

How does your strength play into the work you do?

Nowadays, there is no easy or lineal path in Hospitality and Travel-Tech careers. Therefore, it is key to be a multi-tasker and adapt to a constantly changing atmosphere. How companies used to work a couple of years ago, do not necessarily work today. Therefore, I try to apply a problem- solving and resilient approach to my job.

I can proudly say that I have worked in very different companies and roles, which have always been related to people, travel and tech. I started working when I was very young in a dance summer camp with about twenty kids, where I learnt about Learning and Development. Then, I started working in Hotels for the summer season as Guest Experience, Front Officer and

Reservations where I understood the customer centric approach of a business. After that I discovered the incredible world of Electronic Distribution and Sales in an OTA. This is when I realized of a powerful combo: soft skills and technology.

Having said that, I now find myself as a Freelancer overtaking independent projects on Account Management, CRM, Distribution and Web Content, open to help service-related companies to grow. Without this problem-solving approach I would not have started these challenging projects (hit me up for any crazy idea! Haha)

Imagine your best hospitality / hotel experience – what does it look like?

I enjoy staying at accommodations in which there is a story behind the key components of the experience. As an example, having a slow food & beverage offering with 0KM products.

Furthermore, there should be a cultural exchange in which the local character is present in thecustomer service.

What brings you the greatest joy at work?

It is the sense of belonging and recognition of being part of a project which has some values: ethical business, sustainability, diversity & inclusiveness, work-life balance…

My advice for women in hospitality and travel-tech:

From a young and humble view, I would advise not to be afraid to try and start new projects or career paths. It is never too late to learn something new and to continue developing different talents. This is very related to self-confidence, to get to know oneself so well that we do not questions our capacity to achieve our goals.
